Visit Us
Start your Museum visit off right by stopping at our Visitor
Information Desk, immediately when you enter the Museum. Information specialists staff the desk during regular Museum hours to answer
your questions and assist in making your visit as convenient and comfortable as
possible. Here you can pick up information about current exhibitions,
programs and services.
Additionally, we can provide you with these services:
- Planning your visit
- Providing directions to the galleries, restrooms and other locations in the
museum
- Area restaurant recommendations
- Tips on children's activities and resources
- You may also contact the Visitor Information Desk by telephone at
519.661.0333
Coat Check Room
A coat check room can be found in the Centre Gallery. For security reasons, we
ask that you leave large bags in the coatrooms while you visit the museum.
Umbrellas, backpacks, including baby backpacks, tripods, and any package over
13" x 17", including large purses and diaper bags, are not allowed in the Museum
and must be checked. Lockers are available for safekeeping.
Lost and Found
If you lose an item during your visit, please inquire at the Visitor Information
Desk. If you realize you've lost an item at Museum London after your visit,
please call 519.661.0333 to inquire. Items are kept for a maximum of 30 days
(though valuable items may be held longer). We attempt to locate the owner of
items but unclaimed items are purged after a month and donated to a registered
charity.
Large Groups
Guests intending to bring groups larger than 12 people to Museum London
are encouraged to call ahead to ensure the best experience possible. We
highly recommend booking a tour guide both for guest enjoyment and safety,
as well as the safety of the art and artifacts. Pre-booking a guided tour
two weeks in advance is the best way to ensure a meaningful visit. Call
519.661.0333 for more information.
Telephones
There is a public telephone near the main lobby of the Museum. |
